about the watch

The Rolex Daytona is widely recognized as one of the most iconic chronographs in history and, along with the Submariner, probably the brand's most legendary model. Considered by many enthusiasts to be one of the most beautiful chronographs of all time, the Daytona is in a league of its own when it comes to collectible watches.

Released in 2000, the reference 116520 marked a significant leap from its predecessor, the 16520, by housing Rolex's pioneering fully in-house chronograph movement, the caliber 4130. Its 40mm steel case respects the Daytona’s DNA while blending with the then-new design decisions of Rolex.

The black dial perfectly fits in the aesthetic flow of the watch, adding new technical improvements such as the super luminova hands and indexes, while retaining the original design of this legendary watch. Characterized by a well-balanced layout, the absence of a date display enhances its charm. Adorned with a small red "Daytona" script, applied hour markers, and a Rolex crown at 12 o'clock, this timepiece is a real pleasure to look at and even more to wear. It is sold with its full original set, and although it has been lightly worn (which is normal for a watch that is almost 15 years old), it remains unpolished.

The watch is in mint condition.

The watch is sold with its original full set, which includes the box and warranty card.

The movement is a caliber 4130, which runs perfectly well.
