about the watch
The Must collection from Cartier follows the aesthetic principles of the original Tank watch designed by Louis Cartier in 1917. The watch's design was inspired by the shape of a tank seen from above - clean, efficient, and rectangular, with two brancards that create a tread-like frame around the dial. The Tank was a revolutionary watch in its time, challenging the gendered stereotypes that had previously dominated the watch industry. It was designed for anyone, regardless of gender. Worn by some of the most influential and famous people, including Muhammed Ali or Princess Diana, the Cartier Tank has always been a versatile, well-known unisex watch. This specific piece sports a beautiful black dial and black shiny bracelet. More than being the perfect everyday watch, it brings some originality to the more common white dial on leather strap. The watch comes from the first owner and has been worn 2 times only, with extreme care. This piece is the perfect daily wear for anyone looking to get an original, well-known and appreciated watch.
The watch is almost new, having been worn 2 times only, so both the bracelet and case are in really good condition. It sports one or two micro scratches that are invisible to the naked eye unless put under a very specific light angle.
The watch is sold with its full original set, including the original purchase receipt.
The watch is powered by a quartz movement, which runs perfectly well.
